What I Love about Fall

Summer has faded away. The leaves are changing color. There's a breeze in the air. Fall has arrived. Don't get me wrong. I love summer, but I also LOVE fall. Here are some reasons why I love fall:
1.) The leaves changing color

There's something magical and beautiful stepping outside and walking through trees with yellow, orange, and brown leaves. I really can't explain it. God is such a breathtakingly beautiful artist.
2.) The start of holiday season

Halloween! Thanksgiving! Christmas! (I know that's in the winter, but it's my favorite holiday). I absolutely love the holidays. It's a wonderful time to count your blessings, dress up, spend time with loved ones, and eat lots of delicious food. What's not to love about the holiday season?
3.) Fall clothes

If you really know me, you know LOVE fall clothes. I love wearing cozy cardigans, jeans, sweaters, boots, beanies, and a nice scarf. I'm a firm believer in you can never have enough fall clothes (though my mother might disagree).
4.) Pumpkin-flavored drinks

Forgive me for sounding like a basic white girl, but pumpkin-flavored drinks aren't that bad. One of my new favorite pumpkin-flavored drinks is the pumpkin cream cold brew from Starbucks. I recently tried it and it was HEAVENLY (Way better than the PSL in my opinion, which is ironically pictured above).
5.) The crisp air
I hate the brutal winter cold, but there's something about walking in a cool, fall breeze that I love. It's not excruciatingly hot, but it's not brutally cold either. It's just right.

6.) Cozying up in a blanket

The breezy fall weather is a perfect excuse to cozy up on your couch with a blanket and read your favorite book, listen to your favorite podcast, or just cozy up to your fireplace. One of the simple joys of fall and of life.
